Line Cook

1910 Bar & Grille is located inside The Abington Club in Jenkintown, PA.  We are open to the public for lunch and dinner and also have a catering program for events of all sizes hosted in several different spaces on site.

We are looking for a self driven individual that is willing to learn and grow with us. 

We are looking to fill positions for all hours, days, nights and weekends. There are opportunities for advancement.


Line Cook Roles & Responsibilities

  • Basic line prep

  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage

  • Communicate with other FOH and BOH staff regarding menu items

  • Stock kitchen with food items and necessary supplies 

  • Operate a grill, frier, pizza oven, etc. 

  • Ability to adhere to company standards and follow menu on a consistent basis


Line Cook Qualifications

  • 3-5 Years experience working in kitchens

  • Well organized 

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment 

  • Ability to work as a team as well as independently

  • Positive attitude

  • Adaptable and quick on your feet 

  • Willing to learn and grow with the company 

  • Great communication

  • Customer service is the top priority
