event & restaurant coordinator

The Abington Club and 1910 Bar & Grille, located on site, are Jenkintown’s premier event centers. The Abington Club offers programs and services in fitness, aquatics, and hospitality tailored to all ages and lifestyles. The Abington Club’s Event and Restaurant Coordinator is in charge of helping to execute weekly events that involve The Abington Club and 1910 Bar & Grille.

Operations

  • Execute assigned days event for The Abington Club and/or 1910 Bar & Grille 

  • Help to set up and break down the days event(s) 

  • Manage all event staff the day of the event(s)

  • Oversee quality and presentation of food

  • Close out invoice/take payment from customer at conclusion of the event(s)

  • Give weekly recap of worked event to Event Manage

Requirements

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all customers and staff
